EP

An EP (short for extended play) is a group of tracks or songs on a single medium, that's longer than a single and shorter than an album.

Much like a single, it can contain tracks that are unrelated to each other, or remixes of each other, or a combination thereof.

The distinction between singles, EPs, and albums is hazy and subjective. A release consisting of four tracks, usually two to a side on a 12" record, is very likely an EP.
