BrickLink Common Palette
The BrickLink Common Palette is a subset of Lego elements that are especially plentiful and thus cheap to buy secondhand. BrickLink Studio includes the option to limit yourself to only using these elements, in order for your MOCs to be easier to source.
If I've counted them correctly, even this limited subset of elements consists of a whopping 243 parts and 944 elements. No wonder the full set of elements is so hard to organise!
