Tianjin Seagull
Tianjin Seagull (or simply Seagull, or Sea-Gull, or more formally Tianjin Seagull Watch Technology Co., Ltd. — in China, 东风, "East Wind") is a Chinese mechanical watch and movement manufacturer. Founded in 1955, they were the first Chinese watch manufacturer.
They mostly make traditional watches, and mostly occupy a nice middle ground between downmarket Tongji watches and upmarket luxury watches... although they have been making inroads into the five-figure arena.
Outside of China, they're perhaps best known (to watch collectors, at least) for the 1963, their recreation of their first chronograph — which, by extension, was also China's first chronograph.
They license their movements out to other companies, such as Sugess. Some of these other companies even clone Seagull's own watches, using actual Seagull movements.
