The Planet Phatt was released by E-mu in 1997, as part of their second wave of romplers. E-mu simply swapped the ROM yet again for some sounds more conducive to hip hop, the front panel sporting a purple-to-pink gradient. Everything else is the same as their other second wave romplers, with the placement of everything on the front panel being a dead giveaway.
