The μPD780 (also known as the μCOM-82) was an 8-bit microprocessor IC made by NEC. It's a clone of Zylog's Z80, which is itself an extended clone of Intel's 8080.
μPD780-1
The μPD780-1 (still known as the μCOM-82) was a slightly faster variant, this time cloning Zylog's Z80A, itself an extended clone of Intel's 8080A.[1]
