Lego Creator
Lego Creator is a Lego theme.
Like Basic before it, Creator encourages building a model up, tearing it down again, and then building something new.
Creator welcomes any and all scales, and makes cunning use of regular parts for irregular uses. To especially emphasise the versatility and potential of common parts, the 3 in 1 subtheme (much like Basic's Universal Building Sets) does exactly what its name implies, offering three example models that can be made out of the same elements.
As an example, in Pirates sets, you sometimes get a shark. In the Creator 3 in 1 Pirate Ship set, you build a shark. Isn't that more satisfying?
Parts
Part of the charm of Creator is that it doesn't introduce any new parts. It's all about finding novel uses for existing ones.
