Dasher

The Dasher was a series of video terminals made by Data General in the late 1970s. Models in the series include the D1, D2 (6053), D3 (6093), D100, and D200.
As with the company's Nova and Eclipse minicomputers, their terminals have quite striking blue and turquoise colour schemes, making IBM's System/360 era teleprinters seem comparatively subtle.
Given their colourful 1970s stylings, a far cry from the boring beige boxes of the next two decades, it's perhaps not surprising that they were the main inspiration for the terminal props in Severance. Unlike the real Dashers, the props have a matching blue screen and a trackball.
