A pangram is a sentence containing every letter of a given alphabet.

Probably the most famous English pangram is "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog", but there are others, such as "Amazingly few discotheques provide jukeboxes", and the agreeably terse "Sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow".
