Vector display

A vector display is a type of CRT display. It can draw a straight line between any given two points, continually redrawing dozens of such lines to create primitive, stylised graphics.

Vector displays are used to great effect by some early arcade video games, such as the 2D Lunar Lander and Asteroids, and the 3D wireframe Battlezone and Tempest.
