175 tech specs

The 175 was a chronograph movement made by Venus between about 1942 and about 1960.[1][2]

It was used in several prominent companies' watches, including Breitling.[1][2]

When sales slowed, Venus sold the rights to the design, and the corresponding machinery used to make it, to Tianjin Seagull. Tianjin Seagull then created their own variation, the higher frequency 19-jewel ST1901 movement.[3][2]
