Limited series
In the context of comics, a limited series is a cohesive, single story that spans multiple comic book issues, as opposed to episodic stories that each last a single issue, and open-ended ongoing stories that last a comic's entire run.
This gives it a length on a par with a prose novella or novel, or a TV miniseries.
Limited series are often collected into trade paperbacks, each providing a complete story with a definitive beginning, middle, and end.
The Modern Age seems largely intertwined with limited series.
