A MOC (short for my own creation) is an amateur Lego model. (The term "MOC" arguably isn't ideal, as it's used to refer to both your own MOCs and other people's MOCs.) Essentially, it's a fan-made Lego set, only you have to source the elements yourself.
You can buy the instructions for MOCs from sites such as Rebrickable. Separately, you can buy the required elements directly from Lego, secondhand, or from a third party manufacturer cloning Lego parts.
